Disappointed
I bought this belt to replace an L.L. Bean belt I had worn for many years with great satisfaction which is still in fine condition, but is now too large. It looks like my old belt, but it is thinner and on the edge of flimsy. I am disappointed.

Great look but runs very short
Great quality, but the sizing is really off. I’m a 31/32 waist and bought the 32 belt, but the size 32 belt is barely long enough to reach around me and past the buckle. The belt tail juuust reaches past the leather loop after I tighten it, and looks comically small. I should have bought a 38 or 40.

Actual Belt not “full grain leather”
I’m bought this belt, and paid the premium because it is shown as “Supple full-grain leather”. The belt itself says “genuine leather”. Until recently, I did not realize the quality differences in leather. “Genuine leather” does not mean “full grain leather” and is an inferior product. LL Bean is free to correct me if I am mistaken on this, but “full grain leather” is stamped as such because it is quality and a selling point. This seems deceptive between what is shown online, and what is stamped on the belt.
