Good winter mittens
These are fine mittens for cold weather. I do not find them to be stiff, like others have said. They are not super warm, though (but I have never found ANY mittens or gloves to be warm enough for my cold hands). I was out in 20-degree weather for just an hour and my fingers were really cold by the end of the hour. There is plenty of room in these mittens for hand-warmers, though. They are well made, and they are also water and wind-proof, so they are better than the average winter mitten.

So Disappointed
The product was poor quality and did not perform as described. Still looking for the down - you cannot the down (or any filler) it in the material of the mittons AND my knit gloves fit better and are warmer.

Keeps my hands warm
Tonight it is -17 C and with the windchill is it -25 C on those Cdn prairies. I just finished my walk with my two winter loving dogs. I wear a size medium and have enough room for a pair of wool liner gloves. My hands are not cold wearing these mitts which is ideal as other mitts I have tried from other companies don’t keep my hands as warm. These Baxter mitts are just as warm as my $250 Cdn pair of Canada Goose mitts. They have similar amounts of down fill. If you are wondering whether these mitts would be warm enough, no need to worry.

Close to perfect.
Although I live in a temperate climate, my hands are always cold in winter. These are the warmest mittens I have found. Although my fingers are not toasty warm on very cold days, they remain flexible and comfortable. If these mittens had separate "fingers" inside, they would be very effective.
