We searched textile mills around the world until we found this luxurious Italian lambswool fabric for our supersoft women's wool duffel coat. The casual, classic style also features low-bulk insulation and flattering shape for extra comfort.

Not the great coat of the 1990’s.
This is now an extremely low quality wool, polyester lined versus the 100% high-quality wool with the 100% lambswool plaid lining and leather & wood toggle buttons version I previously wore in the past. Unfortunately, that one no longer fits me and I am looking to find one that does.

I loved this coat but returned it because the hood was huge and wouldn't lay flat. Other than that it was just what I was looking for.

Too large, need smaller sizes
I am disappointed that the smallest size is a 4. I'm 5'4, 102 lbs. The shoulder pads are quite big. Lovely quality materials overall. The wool does have a lanolin feel to it (fingers feel a bit grubby after handling). It is a thick coat, lined, insulated. The zipper indeed is hard to get started at the bottom; you need to lock it in fully before zipping up, which is tricky. I have several coats with similar down/up zippers and this one is truly hard to do up in comparison, not sure why. I would be happy to try this coat again if they make a size 0 or 00 (please make smaller sizes!)
