Made to a different size standard
Looks good and has just enough length. Since I have been losing weight, my older 46" Bean's belt was in the tightest notch. However, the new belt was a 44" size, and has to be used in the first hole. This is basically inconsistent with the size rating of the older 46" belt versus the new 44" belt. The new belt is somewhat less flexible than the older one as well; but does appear to be well made, and the color is very close to my older one. It would have been nice if Bean's could have gotten the new belt made to the same size standard as the older one..

Stylish while also incredibly durable
Best belt ever - beats all the others I have! How do I know? I have one 20 years old or so and in that time it has stretched and faded some, but is still 100% intact. So downgraded to work-pants use and I bought another one which I'm sure will outlive me!

A quality belt
My husband bought this and found that it was good value for the money. The leather is thick and the belt buckle is well mae. This style ran a little long, but that's much better than too short :) He would definitely buy another.

another misstep.
the quality seems good but why is this 36" belt the same size as the 34" belt I bought two years ago? I quit buying certain clothing because every time the same size fit different. Quality control?

Returned... Not what expected!
Front side of the belt is handsome! The back side (facing body) feels and looks like hard plastic. I have a 34" waist and purchase all belts for a 36" waist which allows me sufficient belt length that doesn't look too short when worn. The 36" belt from LL Bean was about 1-1/2"" shorter than all of my other 36" belts. I returned the belt and will not be ordering a replacement from LL Bean.

Disappointing belt.
This belt is very low quality and not worth the money. The leather surface is showing wear already after only a month. It must be made with very cheap leather. Other LL Bean belts are better, but I am very disappointed in this one.
