Silk basic layer is comfort plus on the body!
Purchased for wearing under jeans to shovel snow in freezing cold. Keeps the body heat in comfortably
without adding bulk under jeans. Great for those super cold days too!

Good fit and very comfy
I buy an "extra large" and am often disappointed in the fit-- too baggy through the hips and/or too short. These are a better fit than the last silk underwear I bought. I buy silk because I find most of the other fabrics too itchy. These are very comfortable.

I have been buying these for over 20 years. Starting in Wisconsin where they were much needed. But I still love them even in a warmer climate because they make everything feel more comfortable.

Too short
I have worn these for years. For some reason the recent pair seems shorter than previous pairs. As it has been a colder winter, i didn’t want to wait for a different pair and so I have been wearing them anyway.

Perfect base layer
I got these to wear under pants for a winter trip to London. They are so comfortable and the fabric doesn’t bunch under jeans. They made a big difference in warmth and I was able to log a lot of sidewalk miles without getting cold. The fit is loose, which makes for room to move but it doesn’t affect how pants drape.

Watch sizing
I had exchanged several emails with support and picked the wrong size, too big. As other shoppers have noted they stretch at the knees and ankles and pill easiy, even when washed by hand, but they do add warmth.
