Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Great Fit
I am 5-6" 160 lb. female and I bought a medium. I wanted a flannel I could tuck in and was roomy. The womens are cut upwards on the side, so they can't be tucked in. The medium in women's was too small. These do shrink. The sleeves have 2 buttons for a tighter fit. It is very soft. LOVE this shirt.

Liked it so much he bought two
Soft and comfortable flannel or chamois shirt in plaid. My husbanc wanted something for winter that was warm and had a nice plaid and this was what he wanted. It washed to be even more soft and feels thicker. He loves it, he even bought a second one.

Excellent quality shirt. Fits well, and appears to be warm, although I have not worn it in cold weather as of yet. L.L. Bean shirts that I already have, are proven to be well made and comfortable.
