Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. I'm wearing it right now
Just bought several of these chamois shirts to add a little bit more weight to my collection of beloved Bean flannel shirts. These offer the same fit and comfort, just a heavier (but not too heavy or firm) weight of fabric. It's like a midpoint in warmth and comfort between a Bean flannel shirt and a knit sweater, just comfort fit like a flannel.
