It's our traditional wool shirt, but with an upgrade. We took our premium quality, tightly woven wool-and-nylon blend and combined it with an exceptionally warm PrimaLoft lining. The result is a shirt built for the outdoors.

regrets
I just received my jacket. It is O.K. nothing more. The wool is very light weight and the buttons are loosely attached. I guess my main issue is that I expected more from LL Bean. I am use to the quality of Filson as I own about three of their jackets. Between Filson and LL Bean the clear winner by a mile is Filson. Won't make this mistake again.

Excellent jacket with 1 caveat
I've had this jacket for a couple years and it's incredible. I wear it to shovel snow and outdoor work when it's cold. I love it. I love in the Chicago land area. If you wear a hoodie or llbean traditional Flannel, this jacket will keep you warm on the coldest day. I'm really surprised.
Only problem is it doesn't have pockets. The Sherpa version does but this one doesn't.
