Essential Travel Bag
Was looking for the right size bathroom essentials bag and this one is it! My biggest wish was a bag that could fit my curling iron, straightener, and hair dryer, plus essentials for travel. This bag does just that. I love that it unfolds and can hang up in the bathroom when I need it. I'm eager to use in the next few months for my travels.

Pretty good bag
I purchased this larger bag last week to use as a small gym bag. I have a medium version which I love strictly as a toiletry bag when I travel. It is spacious! But I must echo the criticisms others have made, namely that there is not enough stiffness in the structure to prevent the bag from collapsing when I try to add/remove my items. I was able to remedy that with a $7 purchase of "plastic canvas" used for crafting. I cut an 8 x 11 rectangle and laid that in the bottom, and cut 2 smaller pieces that fit in the mesh pocket of the side zippered compartments. That worked well and is water proof too. Now the bag is everything I hoped it would be. It's small enough, yet holds my gym towel, swim suit, shampoos and conditioners... And the bottom and sides no longer collapse when I use it. I do wish LL Bean research and design team would revisit the issue of collapsing, especially the bottom.

Built to last!
I purchased my bag 20+ years ago for traveling around the country and the world. It has stood the test of time! zipper still works, no tears in the fabric (I did need to have a velcro strip stitched back on finally this year). The bag holds everything and then some. I swear I can put more in there than my luggage

NOT JUST FOR FAMILIES
I purchased this bag just for me. Between toiletries and meds, I needed the largest bag I could find. LLB is always the 1st place I look and you had exactly what I was looking for. We camp in our RV for up to 3 weeks at a time and everything I need fits. I admit, it could use wheels! It does get heavy. Bonus, my husband got my old bag which was an upgrade for him. Quality is always top notch with LLB. This bag will last for decades.
