This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Sizing is smaller than last year
I love the Relaxed Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt I bought last season, so I ordered another one last week in the same size (medium regular). This new one fits snugger across the back and in the sleeves when compared to my shirt that has been washed several times. So disappointing, since next size up is likely to be too loose.

Nice quality warm flannel shirt!
Nice warm shirt to wear with sweats or jeans this winter. Sometimes I layer it over a tee shirt or tank. Good quality material holding up well after numerous washings. No noticeable shrinkage.
I bought three of these and wear them often.
I am happy with this purchase and would recommend to others.

Avoid Bean of Freeport
I purchased this flannel shirt on Jan 6, 2025. Since I have so many of scotch flannel these shirts I haven't worn that much (many three times since purchasing). This shirt did not hold up that well. I have others that were purchased in 2024 and earlier that still look good. Basically this shirt has so many piles that I tried to remove with a scraper for this purpose but was not that successful. I am very disappointed in this style (Bean of Freeport) and will avoid buying similar style in the future.

Soft and cozy
I really enjoy wearing this shirt. It is super soft and just for reference, I am about 150 # or less and 5’4” and purchased a medium relaxed fit. Nice and roomy. Worth the money as I have purchased other flannel shirts from different vendors but this is my favorite.
