This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Great Shirt/Great Shacket
The Washed MacBeth is becoming my favorite - and, that's saying something since I have quite a collection! The colors are upbeat and brighten a grey, winter day. It works perfectly over the new silver blue heather crewneck tee. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Attractive plaid in flannel shirt
Quality fabric, construction and design. The fabric is soft and good weight for a warm flannel shirt. If you are in between sizes, because this is a loose fit shirt, I recommend the smaller size.

Pretty plaid shirt!
I own quite a number of LL Bean flannel shirts of varying styles and weights, so wasn't really in the market for yet another one; however, the appeal of the blue douglas muted stayed in my head for days after I first saw it in the catalog, so I ordered it; and I'm glad I did! It's such great quality, as always, and I really love this particular combination of colors.

Sleeves shrunk
This shirt was great until it was washed for the first time. Washed on warm and dried on low. Unfortunately the sleeves are now a good 3/4” shorter than before it was washed. I bought the tall for the sleeve length so the shrinkage is disappointing.

A Christmas Gift
This was a Christmas present for my wife. And she was very please with it. She loves the shirt and finds it very comfortable. She plans on getting a lot of wear out of it and the quality of it should hold true for this.

In the online photo the plaid on torso and sleeves matches perfectly. The plaid on this shirt is not matched. I am returning it, unworn, because of the poor quality.

Color not as vibrant as shown
Excellent quality shirt, I own several of these flannel shirts and love them all, they are good quality fabric, great fit, and great tailoring and consistent sizing for this item. Just wanted to mention that the colors in this particular pattern 'Washed Angus' are not as vibrant as shown, they are nice colors, just a bit muted. I'm keeping the item because I still like the muted color
