Great cool weather hat
I've had this hat for a little over a month, and it's indispensable. It's great from the low 50's down to the mid 30s, with some ear warmers it's good down to the high 20s. And the waxed cotton keeps me dry in the rain and snow. I've seen some complaints about sizing, I've worn a 7 1/4 patrol cap for nearly two decades, this fits perfectly and there's still plenty of slack on the adjustable leather strap.

Not water resistant
I dribbled water droplets and it soaked right through. No water resistance whatsoever. Did they forget the wax?

Poor quality hat
The hat is not what i would consider waxed canvas it has little or none at all. The item is shipped in a paper envelope & the the hat is crushed with deep creases & indentation. I have purchased the same hat years ago it was fantastic. The quality of the original as compared to the new one is night & day.

Tiny Hat Doesn't Fit All
This hat arrived today and it is too small to fit my 7 1/4 hat size head. Even with the adjustable band unhooked, the hat just perches on the top of my head.

Great hat
Great hat for winter or bad weather. The adjustable back strap with locking buckle is great. So easy to use and looks sharp. The wax coating sheds light rain. Unisex design makes it a family favorite. Was back ordered for a while…worth the wait!
