Warm, but big
We did the measurements described and it still feels kind of big, although not quite big enough to risk returning it and having the Medium be too small. Wish our local store had a similar style to try on for fit. It is heavy and warm and looks nice.

Husband loves this!
Gave this to my husband (6’6”, 250, XLT) as a Christmas present. He loves it. Very high quality fabric and construction (former apparel production specialist here). Worth every penny, and he’ll have it for years here in snowy Minnesota. LL Bean is always reliable.

Wool Parka
Very nice Wool Parka. Only thing I do not like is the upper two handwarmer pockets are sewn shut.

Warm and Practical
I have owned the loden green coat for several years and get a lot of compliments on it. I own multiple winter coats and this one is my favorite.

Sizing is weird.
5'6" 190lbs.
Shoulders too broad for the Short. Arms too short for the medium. Genuinely very weird sizing on this jacket if these are the 2 smallest sizes. Looks great and is very warm though.

This is one warm coat!
I got this coat for our son in law for Christmas. He owns a beef farm in Upstate New York and it's a struggle finding clothes to help keep him warm. I don't think he's taken this coat off since Christmas Day!

Warm very well thought out hunting and winter hike
I drove up to the hunt store to buy the primaloft jacket which was on sale from $250 to $212.. tried it on and was a decent jacket. I than saw and tried this Guide Parka on. It is leaps and bounds better. Was not on sale but well worth the extra $110. Wool is thicker and better quality, primaloft covers more, zipper is much better and higher quality. Has cuffs inside the sleeves to hold warmth in. Has a drawcord inside to tighten and seal out cold. Love the game pouch for extra gear or birds. Excellent collar. Did a full day tracking in minus 3 temp yesterday with just a microfiber T shirt on yesterday and was completely warm and it wicks sweat away perfectly. Its a lot more money than the $250 jacket.. But would spend it again in a heartbeat for a much better jacket. These parkas should last a lifetime and being 85% wool you will be warm and dry.. Spend the extra. Well worth it
