Wonderful shirt. Have bought 'em for 20 years
Addendum to previous review. Currently have four or five in regular rotation that aren't frayed. Those go back about 8 years. Do not like that LLBean does not keep some colors in stock (the Orchid at the moment) in XXL-T. I'm tired of blue (never a dark one) and two rather common greens. I rarely wear the plaids from years back to keep 'em going. Put more colors out for the big guys to wear, and GET SOME PLAIDS GOING AGAIN!!

Have worn out a few, but only after many years
I've bought about ten of these through the years. Have five in current circulation. I'm very angry with LLB for discontinuing the plaid ones. Average life seems to be about 8 years of regular use, if you don't mind some threadbare cuffs, some slight holes forming at the corners of the pocket flaps, or the under-placket button stand wearing thru on its crease. The pen-hole in the left pocket is just right for a good fountain pen. (others's shirts make 'em too small) I'd like to see more colors more often, and BRING BACK PLAIDS!
