Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Button holes too small
I struggled to get top two buttons undone, but last three were impossible. The button holes are simply not big enough. Oddly, the button holes are positioned horizontally, which made it even harder. I looked at shirts with buttons: all button holes are placed vertically, so buttons slip in and out easily. Definitely something very wrong with construction. I’ve always wanted a barn coat for autumn, but not this one. (Don’t really know how it fit. Required so just put mark in middle)

Runs large
Nice quality jacket. I’m normally between a small and a medium at 5’3”, 128lbs, and initially ordered a petite small but it drowned me so exchanged for a petite XS. It is still quite oversized but doesn’t look frumpy. I normally wouldn’t pay this price for this kind of jacket, so hoping it lasts me many years!
