With little touches like inverted pleats and buttoned patch pockets it's no surprise this coat continues to be a customer favorite, year after year. Inspired by our iconic Field Coat (originally named Maine Duck Hunting Coat), first introduced in 1924.

Durable Coat with Limitations
I currently have this coat I bought over 5 years ago. It has a quilted lining in it; thusly, I can wear it all winter---so warm. However, the new one I bought as stated in the writeup has a flannel lining probably to keep the cost down. Flannel does not provide the warmth of a quilted lining so I have to wear more underneath. The coat itself on the outside has fantastic durable fabric to last for years. I wish you would substitute the olive green for a navy color which is more suited for various dressing vs. olive.

Old and new
I bought this to replace a much loved barn coat from L.L.B., that is many years old. This new one is a great fit, love the color, plaid interior and corduroy cuffs and collar, miss the inside pocket I had on the old one which also had a bit more weight to it. All in all very happy with my choice.

Solid construction
The coat is nice, am wondering why pocket flaps are sewn with corduroy underneath. Would look nicer showing, to match collar detail and cuffs when rolled up.

Awesome Barn Coat
I had this exact Barn Coat for over 20 years until my horse ripped all the buttons off 😂😂, and it had faded pretty badly (I had the dark green color) and was frayed on the cuffs. Time to replace it. My only request is could you consider making this coat a bit longer. We have bitter winters and having it cover more of your backside would make this coat perfect!!

Cute and Comfortable -- Just as Expected!
This was my first time buying a jacket of this style, so I was unsure what to expect. However, I am very satisfied by the quality and style of this coat--it's perfect as a top layer over a sweater or pullover in colder weather.
It does run a bit oversized, but this was suitable given I typically wear it over multiple layers.
