Feels Like These Have Been Cheapened
I have been through numerous pairs and typically get a good year out of them. Unfortunately, my latest pair (purchased December 2025) felt slightly different from the get-go. When I purchased these, I actually returned a pair that didn't feel right. When these came in feeling a bit off as well, I was concerned that these just weren't the same Moccasins as before. I'm afraid LL Bean is cheapening the shoe.
These wore through *very* quickly compared to previous pairs (8 months vs. 12-14 months). All of my house slippers are worn almost daily. They get a lot of use. These got no more use than previous pairs but the comfortable shearling seemed thinner from the beginning and matted very quickly. Where previous pairs were tight in the beginning and conformed to your feet with use, these were lose and never felt snug. Now, at 8 months in they are stretched, matted, uncomfortable and basically unusable.
I hate giving up what has been a great product over the years but I don't trust these are the same Moccs.

Wicked good!
Most durable and comfortable slippers I’ve owned! been wearing the wicked good moccasins and classic wicked good slippers for years please never change these iconic styles. Planning on adding a new pair in a different color for this season!
