Color fading after one wash
I was happy with this shirt. I love corduroy shirt jackets and found this one to be comfortable, warm, and a lovely color. However, I noticed the other day that, after just one wash and a few wearings, the color on the sleeves, especially around the elbow, has faded. So my opinion of the shirt went from 4-5 stars to 2. The aging makes it looks cheap and old. What a shame!

Too Big!
I just received this today. It looked huge! I tried it on and it drowned me! The lining for the pockets was too short so the corduroy pouched out above the hem. I always expect and rely on excellent quality from L.L. Bean and was sadly disappointed. It is bagged up ready to be returned tomorrow.

Love this shirt, kinda.
I have one of the original Big Shirts and I see a lot of people complaining about it not being the same. I love the shirt tails on this version, over the straight across boxy look. I do have to agree the breast pockets suck. The pocket flaps are big an bulky and dont lay right. The original had no flaps or buttons. I will keep the shirt and just remove the pocket flaps and button with a seam ripper. Its still agreat shirt.
