At last! The airflow I've been searching for!
I looked forever and tried several different makes and styles of shirts trying to find a soft fabric that allowed sufficient airflow in 90+ degree heat. These are the only ones that fit the bill. Great, airy fabric. Comfortable as can be. Bought six. Couldn't be more satisfied!

It’s lightweight and comfortable. ANY krinkly fabric creates air pockets against the skin. They can cool in the summer and warm you in cold weather. Stick with the lighter colors.

Long sleeve, but cool enough for summer temps
My Grandson got one too (birthday gift). He got the green color, and it is a nice shade. He commented on the softness of the material. Mine is just like your description, almost feels like you have no shirt on even though you do.
