Bring back the classic Pima cotton cardigan
I am a longtime fan of the classic buttonless Pima cotton cardigan. I loved the flat collar and draping fit. I would buy several new colors every year along with matching sleeveless shells to make a set. They were so versatile, perfect for casual wear or dressed up with a scarf, and great for travel. I always received compliments when wearing them. I was shocked to find this classic style was discontinued this year, especially since LL Bean competitors are still selling this style. When the new button-down style was offered in shadow green, I decided to give the new style a try. So disappointing, as expected, the new style is shorter and no longer has the draping fit. You really can’t wear it open, the sides don’t stay in place without using the buttons. Please bring back the classic Pima cotton cardigan - longer and no buttons.
