Great quality
Excellent quality cashmere. The sweater is a thick cashmere. It doesn’t pill either. I haven’t seen a cashmere sweater of this quality since I found one made in Italy about 20 years ago. It’s wonderful to be able to find this quality of cashmere again. It’s also very soft.

Handsome, substantial sweater
I bought this in black in a size L, my usual size. It fits very well and looks much like it did on the L.L. Bean model. I like its tunic length, slight high/low hem design, and the cashmere is soft and substantial. The cable design is handsome, but I would prefer to have plain sleeves. (The cabling looks bulky on my arms.) I also would have preferred a slightly less thick weight of the sweater so it would drape in a more flattering way. At the same time, it's thick and very warm.
Overall very happy with the sweater and will wear it a lot. (After wearing it for a few weeks I did have to shave it to remove pilling.)

Cashmere sweater is very nice (size medium)
I gave this sweater as a gift to my adult daughter. She sent me this evaluation: “ I like how soft it is and that it's a relaxed fit. The only negative would be smaller size of the head hole. That's probably due to my bigger head, but I found it a little harder to pull over my head than I expected.”
