Meet our Lightweight Field Jacket, a fresh take on our timeless Field Coat for a new generation. Features the same iconic rugged look and classic details as the original, with a lighter weight, slightly cropped fit - and well-loved vintage look.
Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. We love timeless fall classics, but a timeless and seasonless classic is even better.

THE JACKET IS BEAUTIFUL AND JUST THE RIGHT WEIGHT FOR THE WEATHER IN SOUTHEASTERN NC. IT LOOKS NICE ENOUGH TO BE APPROPRIATE IN ANY SETTING - DINNER WITH HUBBIE IN A NICE RESTAURANT, LUNCH WITH THE GIRLS OR TAKING KIDS TO THE PARK. I CAN SEE A LOT OF WORK IN THIS JACKET'S FUTURE!

Perfect except sizing

While the design is nice, the fabric is thin and shirt like. Not at all the fabric one would expect when buying a jacket. Pretty cheap.

Goldilocks jacket
First I ordered large but it was too big for me. Then I tried medium but it was too tight in the shoulders. Such a shame- it was otherwise exactly what I wanted

Comfortable, Stylish and Easy to Wear
I already own a LLB Chore jacket but like the unlined, water resistant button up style. I chose black and am very happy with the purchase. It's easy to put on and take off and is warm with a sweater under it. It's great for fall and also spring wear. The style and color looks great with my pants and jeans. I've washed it once on cool, delicate and lined dry so no shrinkage. I can't do zippers so the buttons were a must have. Love it!

If Only It Were Lined
Love the jacket but it is difficult to get my arms in the sleeves. The sleeves of what I am wearing stick to the fabric. At this price a lining of the sleeves at least would be good.

Love this lightweight field jacket
What a great jacket. It looks particularly good with at least two layers under it. I sent back the L and ordered a M which fits great. It can be washed but I plan to put that off as long as possible.
