Inspired by an original - ours. Our Field Coat was first introduced in 1924 as the Maine Duck Hunting Coat. It was an immediate favorite - loved for its rugged look and quality craftsmanship. Plus, it coordinated perfectly with our Maine Duck Hunting Boots (now known as "Bean Boots"). The legacy continues with this stylish lighter version. Beautiful but thin
I love the look, length, color, and style of this coat. And the corduroy detail is so fun. But it is EXTREMELY thin, really more of a light shirt. For the price, I really wish it were lined and am considering returning it for something a little heavier. In Maine weather, I think there’s only two weeks a year when I would be able to wear this. Would be a great jacket if you lived somewhere warmer!
