True to Size
The jeans are well made and the fabric is a nice medium weight. My only problem is that I bought a size too big, expecting them to shrink. After two washings in hot water and drying them on highest heat, they are still too big. Heads up, readers! They do NOT shrink.
Good for LLBean; not so good for me.
Anybody want a never-worn size 10 petite? 😂

I thought I'd try a pair of new style wide-leg jeans, but these were way too wide for me! Fit at the waist, then boom -- out like a tent. I'll return these and look for a pair that fits closer on hips and at least half of thighs before "widening." According to reviews, they work well for others.

Great fit!!
I purchased these jeans last month, looking for something a little different! I love the trouser look and fit, easy to dress up. The hook closer is a plus. The length was perfect for me, at 5’7. I do wish they were also available in a lighter wash.

I looked forward to the "new style" wide legs pants but was very disappointed in how badly they looked on me. The quality was excellent but the style is not for

great pruchase, perfect length
I love these jeans and have worn them almost continually since they arrived. My daytime go-to pants that go with everything. As someone who no longer wears 4-inch heels (!), I am particularly delighted that they are the perfect length for flats and sneakers.

Sizing off etc
Have not purchased much from LLB lately after being a 40 year customer ( and have items purchased then, still holding up)! Bought these in petite 18 according to my measurements & size chart. No longer slim but still 5’2”. These are about 4” too long, way too wide overall in leg. Waist about 2” too big. The ‘clips’ are horrible to get them to attach at the same time. I much prefer a snap or button. Wide jeans look better on me but these are ridiculously wide. Fabric for wide jeans should be lighter weight. Disappointed with Bean clothes now in style and sizing.

I bought these last winter and I am very pleased with the shape. I am very happy to find a pair that sits at the actual waist. I hope LLBean will offer this style and tailoring in a lighter weight version for summer. I bought size 14 to accommodate a broken bone boot, a little loose on me now but bc of my curvy shape they still look good.
