The fit is great. The fabric is not great.
Purchased and washed one time. Went on a five day trip and the fabric was already beginning to pill at the neck and under the arms. Washed it again, the pill went away. I anticipate this will be the $90 jacket that I stop wearing after six months because it doesn’t look good anymore. The fit is awesome. The fabric quality, not awesome.

Just a beautiful & comfortable 4-season jacket
This jacket is light weight but warm for the conventional three season transitional wear in NE Ohio. And it will make a wlcome sweater in-house during the winter months. I chose a medium over a small, my usual L. L. Bean size (5'2" / 130 lbs), to allow for some layering. I took a chance and ordered it in the dark cinder color, not on my usual color palette, but I love it! The textured knit in this color change the appearance from taupe to sage green to a grayish hue depending on the light and what you wear. The outer pockets zip and two more deep inner pockets can hold a wallet and a cell phone. I haven't laundered it yet, but have confidence it will be fine--will likely use a net laundry sack to protec the weave. I've worn L. L. Bean clothing for years, and love the design, fit, and fabric of this jacket. It is classic in appearance and works the casual-to-dressier look beautifully. Five stars. M. Chadbourne
