great at first till it starts unravelling
I bought two of these , one crew neck ans one 1/4 zip, both start to unravel within a month, the crew neck i threw out because the whole got so big, keep in mind that i wash my sweaters by hand , gently in cold water with a very mild detergent, every wool item except the 250 midweight layers have all developed holes or started unravelling, as a llbean afficiando for 15 years, i am losing my faith in this companys wool products , I dont spend 100 plus dollars on an item to take it to be repaired within a month.

Not worth it
I bought this about two months ago, and it has a hole already near one of the seams in the neck. Years ago I got an LL Bean Merino quarter zip, and it is still looking and wearing great. This new one is poorly made and appears to be made of much cheaper material. Some of Bean's products are good, others, not. This is one of the bad ones. In sizing, it runs a little large, but acceptable.

My husband loves it
I picked this out for my husband to wear to work. He's been layering it over a collared shirt and pairing with khaki pants, and it looks really good. He's been getting so many compliments on it that now he wants it in other colors too. In most brands he is usually somewhere between a M and L, and the M in this fits him perfectly.
