Fits Perfect
I ended up KEEPING this jacket because I ethically agree with the "duck hunting" design. The back pouch/pocket is meant for your dead ducks after you hunt them. This was amazing to learn, obviously.
But seriously, this is a great coat and I’ve gotten a ton of compliments. Love the 100% cotton and design that will last for years to come.

I ended up returning this jacket because I do not ethically agree with the "duck hunting" design. The back pouch/pocket is meant for your dead ducks after you hunt them. This was horrible to learn, obviously.

L.L. Bean Heritage Quality
I order my size in petite when available. This item was not offered in petites so I ordered it in regular since past experience has taught me that L.L. Bean merchandise from the archives usually runs a tad smaller than the newer lines. It looks and feels fine. Yes, the sleeves are a bit long, but they're perfect for driving. The outer shell is finer and softer than one might expect from canvas, there's ample room for layering, and the flannel lining does NOT extend down the length of the sleeves, which makes putting the jacket on and taking it off easy. Speaking of the lining, it's exactly the same as the new women's Signature camp flannel shirt in the currant print; so, if you like that shirt, you should love this jacket.

New favorite jacket
This is my new favorite jacket! Will be perfect for fall and spring. I love where it sits at the waist- it's slightly cropped, giving it a much more modern/feminine flair than a traditional jacket of this style.

Hunting Jacket
Love this jacket, and a nice reminder of my father & grandfather pheasant hunting.
Not too heavy and easily able to put a sweater under. Full lined pocket across the back, side access and invisible to others. Thank you Ned at the Flagship store in Maine!
