Great shirt-reviewing the medium sized, lighter
This my 2nd Denim Boyfriend shirt. I now have one in both blue colors. One is large and one in medium. Very comfortable. Medium fits best. Large is a little too large. I hand washed both before wearing and they didn't hardly bleed at all...almost none. Needed a little ironing.

Disappointing for me but maybe not for you?
The shirt is beautifully made with white piping details along the inside of the collar. It’s very attractive looking. It wasn’t till I washed it and tried it on the second time that I realized how disappointed I was. in both the cut of the shirt and the material it’s made of. The shirt is cut shorter in the back than it is in the front. It’s oversized look, which took some getting used to because I really didn’t know what a boyfriend shirt was, makes it balloon out in the back. So not only does it not cover the shirt underneath, which I thought was the purpose of an oversized shirt, but it’s extremely unattractive. The other issue is the material. The color is a beautiful denim blue but the material is not the texture. I would have expected a okd denim shirt. I have an earlier denim shirt from L.L. Bean. I really like a lot. It has texture to it when you feel it with your fingertips. This one is very smooth, almost like a shirt made out of supima cotton. I trust LL Bean that the shirt will start to wear and take on the look of old denim, but the material will never have the texture of what I consider to be the type of denim that is found in a favorite pair of jeans. I’m no expert on boyfriend shirts but my boyfriend, now my husband, has shirts that definitely cover my rear end. If the texture and the cut of the shirt doesn’t bother you, I have no doubt that you would love ithis shirt. As for me, I will probably end up wearing it around the house only.

I love the fabric and the fit is oversized as it’s supposed to be but not too much. I haven’t worn it yet as it’s too hot yet where I live

Weird boxy shape but not in ty e way you would like. Boxy in the shoulders and pocket too big, waist length is regular and normal sizing. Shoulders are big! Not the usual LL bean shape for anything

Denim Shirt
I bought this to replace an old denim shirt. It feels great and I love the color, however the shoulders are slightly dropped and sort of create a shoulder pad look on me at the seams. You can see it a bit in a few of the photos. I'm debating keeping it and seeing if washing helps but not entirely sure I want to chance it. Size is spot on - slightly oversized but true to size, fits like the models.

Large but well made shirt
When this shirt arrived I thought it was well made but huge. After washing the sizing was better butsleeves a little long. I still think it runs large but am keeping it.

Nice shirt but runs large.
Was excited to see this shirt offered and am glad I bought it. Only problem is it runs large. It is a light weight denim. Washed well. Didn't bleed very much if at all. Wasn't very wrinkled but ironed it and it looked great. I bought a petite Large which is a size I usually wear but it seems big all over. I am keeping it. I bought the darker indigo but am thinking of ordering the lighter color in medium.
