Nice versatile sweater
The sweater feels nice and soft. The material is light and comfortable. I have not worn it yet but feel it is going to work well for intended use over button down shirts. The colors, brown, grey and black will be great staples to wear throughout the fall and winter seasons. From reading reviews it should wash well in washing macine.

I just received my black Merino Wool cardi. It is just as expected and so soft. Anyone who claims that this sweater isn't soft doesn't know wool. I bought it to wear to church and with slacks. I is breathable and warm. I recommend this.

Great Quality & Perfect Fit
I purchased this cardigan in Black, size Large. For reference, I normally wear a women’s size 12 top, I’m 5’3” and 170 lbs. The fit is excellent—comfortable across the bust with no button gapping, yet still flattering without being boxy.
The weight of the merino wool is just right—not too thin and not overly heavy. It’s versatile enough to wear buttoned up on its own or layered over a T-shirt. Perfect for Midwest winters when I want something warm but not bulky.
As always, L.L. Bean delivers on quality. This sweater feels well-made and classic, something I know I’ll wear for years. I like it so much I would definitely purchase again in another color.
