Quality, fit, and durability
I'm so glad LL Bean has moved to Indianapolis. For years I have used the catalog, always with complete satisfaction. I have three barn coats, one that celebrated 25yrs. maybe it's reached the right to be retired, but serves me well when working in the yard. The quality, fit, and durability of Bean can't be beat.

Not a fan of Pima cotton
I am not a fan of the Pima cotton - it is soft but a lot of that comes out in the first wash. Also, it clings to the body in unflattering ways even if it is the right size - regular cotton doesn't do that. I bought a 3/4 sleeve 100% cotton V-neck shirt before from L.L.Bean that I love - I wish you made those in more colors - bright colors would be nice.

Such nice fabric and fit!
This 3/4 length sleeve polo shirt is exactly what I expected. The fabric is very soft and the color is deep and rich. I have washed it and the color is fast. The neckline is not too revealing.

Appropriate petite sizing
In its earlier days LL Bean could be counted upon for consistent petite sizing. It’s been a long time since that consistency could be relied upon, since most petite items have been much too long to flatter the petite figure. However, the petite sizing on this shirt seems correct. The shoulders are correctly placed, and the length is right. I ordered my usual size, Petite Medium, and the shirt fits well. One word of warning: if you like oversized tops, this one is not for you. There isn’t an extra spare inch on this one, which is probably why it
fits perfectly on a 5’2” 120 pound person. The dark purple color is beautiful, as is the silky pima that LL Bean continues to provide.
