5 feet, 120 lbs, ordered medium, & love it! Fits loosely, heavier than long sleeve shirt, & lighter than sweatshirt. Love the close, but comfortable collar, so my neck doesn’t get cold. This is the perfect “in-be-tween” season shirt! It’s very soft, flexible, & cozy. I hope L.L. Bean continues to make this, and provides even more colors.

Great top for someone but not me
This is a very soft top with a just a hint of style at the neckline, slightly extended hem line, and thumb cuffs. It just wasn’t enough style for me. I looked frumpy in it, and the color was not as flattering as I had hoped. It was very well made and true to LL Bean quality.

Plain style, lovely fabric
I LOVE the SoftFlex fabric - it is soft and cozy and just right for in between seasons when a sweatshirt is too much and a t-shirt is not enough. That said, I struggle with the SoftFlex styles that have come out over the last few years (and the sizing has been a challenge all along). I got a v-neck version (size Sm) a couple years ago that I love and wanted to try this crossneck style for a little extra coverage on my neck. Unfortunately it looks like a sack on me - it's absolutely nothing special. I am 5'6", 150 lbs, 36A bust, 33" waist and 41.5" hips. Trying it on, the size Sm felt a little big and my usual size Med was huge. When I couldn't get the lavender color in size Sm, I opted to keep the Med anyway and was surprised when I was able to shrink it by leaving it in the dryer longer. Now the Med fits almost like the Sm did at try-on so not a bad result overall, but I would only wear it around the house because the style is frumpy and plain. I hope LLB keeps experimenting with styles and colors in this fabric.

I’m disappointed with this item. The color is great and the material is quite soft, but it is super thin and not the quality I’m used to from LL Bean. The stitching around the neckline is very course and irritates my neck as well. Not worth the price

Soft is Right!
This shirt is soft as velvet and feels really cozy on. It washes well. A new favorite! I took the reviewers suggestion to buy a size smaller than my usual and it fit just right.
