Soft fabric. Drapes well. The seams shrunk up a bit in the dryer but relaxed once I wore them. Good pockets.

Need more colors!
Wow! I love, love, love this fit! The waist is smaller than the hips and the shape is so flattering if you have hips with a nipped in waist! Unlike most Bean pants, that are way too short for me, these are actually long enough! Finally! Please make these in navy, taupe, slate blue, etc! I will buy them all!

Perfect Fit, Good light weight fabric
I was apprehensive about choosing the correct size due to the many reviews that stated the pants were over sized and too long. I am not sure why that was for them, but they were a Perfect fit for me. I purchased the petite size 8 and that is also the size I wear in the stretch cargo pants and true-fit jeans. I was also concerned about the tencel content of the fabric. I usually don't buy things made with tencel. I prefer cotton denim with no more than 2% elastane. Tencel has no body to it. It is droopy and somewhat clingy. This was not the case with these pants.

Petite?
LL Bean please rethink your petite size. First of all these pants run large. I ordered my usual size and they were too big. I went down a size and they also are a bit loose in the waist. I would go down one more size, but I'm afraid they would be too tight. Also, even though these are petite, they are way too long. I'm going to have to spend more money to have them altered. I would have left more stars, but considering the price and the wonky sizing, I just can't.

Great slacks!
I love the lightweight pants but they were way too long for me (I'm average height) so I returned them for the petite length. I got the sandbar color and it will be a nice summer color. With so many shorter length styles now trending Im not sure why Bean decided to make these ridiculously long, but Im glad there is a way to make it work. They are very well constructed.
