Less than impressed
I have been disappointed with these shoes. I bought medium width but these are very wide. So far as comfort, they feel like a really cheap pair of shoes I bought at a major big box department store several years ago. These shoes are very flat so I clomp as I walk. Now after just 4 months of occasional wear, one of the laces is disintegrating. I cannot recommend these shoes. I will not purchase another pair of shoes from LL Bean.

Great shoe; disappointing laces!
One of the best hiking shoes I’ve ever found for my wide feet.
Unfortunately the laces fell apart within 6 months and I’ve returned the shoes to LLBean for a refund. ☹️

Great hiking/walking shoes
The shoes are well built, sturdy, and very comfortable. The tread provides great traction outside. I have walked over 150 miles in 6 weeks and am very happy with their performance. I will definitely purchase these again when the current pair wears out.

Comfy shoes,
Comfortable with plenty of room in the toe area. Nice tread pattern. Bought up a 1/2 size as my 11 1/2 regular size near the margin. Bought a size 12 and that fit great. Use then as my everyday shoes.
