Almost perfect, got for packrafting
This life jacket is light weight (great for the pack part of packrafting) and has a mesh back that works great with my packraft seat. It is comfortable, has good adjustment straps and feels secure. If L.L. Bean designers could improve accessibility to the pockets it would be five stars. Getting anything (sunglasses and smallish iPhone in my case) in or out of the pockets is a struggle, though zippers keep whatever you get into the pockets very secure. I think a top rather than side accessed pocket would be an improvement.

Great design for females
Love how this PFD fits. My back is comfortable now and does not get sweaty or too hot when kayaking. It fits very well and is designed for a female so there is room in the chest area without feeling so "compressed". Yet it fits snug enough, as a PFD should, so it won't lift off and over my head, should I fall into water.

Breathable comfort
I just happened to wander into LLBean and spot this life jacket. Mine was 15 years old so i thought it was time for a new one. I wore it on my paddleboard for 2 1/2 hours the other day. Very comfortable.

Absolutely Impossible to Zip Up
I don’t know what has happened to these amazing PFDs for kayaking. I bought two recently, and it is impossible to zip, alone, or with help. The front flotation is so thick and the zipper so short, that the tab cannot anchor the zipper to start a zip up. And the women’s shape really no longer accommodates a bust larger than an A cup at best. Totally disappointed.
