Oh, so close, but with a fatal flaw
I love the style, the fit, the tread and how quickly they air dry. What is a huge disappointment, however, is that the footbed is not secure once wet. The front half from the ball of my foot forward slides back and bunches up under my arch and becomes very uncomfortable. I have to take them off to reset, but they still slide around.

Not for me
They slipped on my heals and did not have much cushion.

Ordered a new pair
I bought this shoe a few years ago, originally thought it felt like a running shoe, light and flexible. A year ago I got a pair of Hoka Cliftons but they feel like pillows on my feet and make me feel a bit unstable: Just ordered a new pair of the Elevations 😊

Good review
Very lightweight and comfortable. Did a lot of walking in Ireland and my feet did not bother me.

Inadequate support, won’t purchase again.
The shoe has a soft/flimsy counter that doesn’t
provide adequate support for trail walking.

Regrettably they do not fit because of rigid mate
I bought a pair similar to this a number of years ago that has full laces. These do not. The main issue is at the top of the tongue where it joins the main part of the shoe is solid material. As a result it is too tight against the top of one of my feet making very uncomfortable. I would suggest a design modification replacing the solid material with some type of elasticized material to accommodate differences. I returned shoes.

Like a running shoe for the water and sand
I bought these before my trip to the Caribbean islands. They were so great for walking around town and even better on the sand and in the water. Fit great.
