Worth the Investment
The L.L.Bean quality we all know and appreciate. My big thrill was that there was a hood string, so you can actually close the hood around your head. Love the double zipper. My only disappointment was that the pockets did not have an interior opening, but that also meant that nothing will fall out of them (as they are zipped shut from the outside. I got a larger size as I wanted to be able to wear over sweaters and sweatshirts in colder weather, and I expect to wear this for years.

SO light weight!
I bought this for a trip. I am an 1x, older woman with an able chest. I needed something to kept the wind and rain out in brief showers while I explored. The coat is soft and light. It falls in a flattening fashion. Has both snaps and a zipper. I placed it in my hiking bag, it took up barely any space. Other rain coats I've tried have a rubbery heavy feel to the fabric, this is not restrictive at all. I've only wore it on windy, misty, drizzle types of days, no heavy rain.

Good enough for Ireland
Very comfortable, I wore it on my Ireland trip. We had traditional Irish weather I liked that the coat was flattering and functional.

Worth very Penny
I purchased this jacket at the flagship store while visiting for my daughter's college graduation on a whim when the weather became rainy. It was a bit of an expensive jacket in my opinion but after less than a month of use it is WORTH EVERY PENNY! It kept me dry during 2 outdoor ceremonies in Maine and surprisingly back home I have used it more than I thought with some Colorado rainy days. It is breathable, has functional pockets, and is just the right length to help keep my thighs dry while I sat outdoors. I have never owned such a breathable raincoat, I am usually warm and sweaty as they tend to trap body heat, but not this jacket! I did size up 1 size to be comfortable as it is not stretchy.

Very nice but sleeves very long-
Adorable but the sleeves were so long they exceeded my finger tips!! That and concern about how water proof the coat might be based on comments resulted in me returning the coat. It is nicely made and fits nicely if the sleeves weren't so ridiculously long at least for this 5'1" gal!!
