An excellent everyday comfortable pant.
These pants are awesome. They fit perfect. They go nice with sneaker or casual shoes. They wash great too. I will say that I bought large originally but took them back because they fit more like an xl. I exchanged them for a medium and they are perfect. Have them in several colors.

Disappointment
I have purchased multiple pairs of the Perfect Fit Pant for my mom over the past decade, and for many years these were truly her favorite pants. She wore them constantly because they were comfortable, flattering, and durable. In fact, she’s been wearing LL Bean pants for close to 30 years — across three generations of our family, we’ve spent thousands and thousands of dollars with this company because we trusted the quality.
Unfortunately, that quality is no longer there. The waistband now twists after a single wash because it’s tacked rather than properly constructed, leaving the pants looking worn out almost immediately. One wash should not ruin a pair of pants at this price point.
I hadn’t purchased these in a few years, but when I noticed my mom’s older pairs looking tired, I hoped the issue had been addressed. I checked reviews before buying and was disappointed to see the same complaints still appearing — and no meaningful fix.
This isn’t just a complaint; it’s genuine disappointment. LL Bean built its reputation on reliability and craftsmanship, and it’s discouraging to see a longtime staple reduced to something that no longer reflects those values — especially while still charging premium prices.

The pants fit like they were custom made for me!
Fantastic fit & fabric! I'm 220 and wear size XL REG. They are 30 in. long. I'm 5'6" tall and they fit perfectly. They're the only pants I wear. Their fleece lined are great in winter. I have several pairs in different colors & fabrics. The fleece lined look like dressy pants. I wear them year round.

I ordered these because I have 2 pairs of the black and absolutely love them and wear them all the time. The fit well and wash well. I wanted another color so was happy to see that brown was back as a choice. However these are not the same material as the original ones I have. It is more of an artificial feel and not as much stretch. Since they fit I'm going to keep them but very disappointed that they say "original" but are no way the same as the ones I love.
