Did don't like the fabric
I don't know if the black is different or I got a bad batch or what....but the fabric was very stiff....so I washed them and then they were worn and faded looking at the waistband and no softer.

Great fitting pants, super comfortable
I really like these pants for everyday wear. Super comfortable and long lasting. I keep getting more and more of this wardrobe staple. They retain their shape wash after wash. I dont put my clothes in the dryer but they have gone through occasionally with no ill effects.
