just received 5 mins ago. there is a strong chemical smell. I have to wash before wearing which is really bad! I have never had to do this with LLBean products before. Why????

Womens perfect fit pants petite.
Love them...comfortable...and the RIGHT LENGTH! That is very hard for me to find. I might be 5' and 2 1/2" tall but I have a huge problem finding the perfect length in pants and sleeves. It is great to find something that has the right length. I bought Petite Medium.

Not bad pants
I wear a size 2x. The pants fit nicely but the waistband is way too tight for a person my size. I also don't care for the shiny sharkskin like material. What happened to the nice cottony pants that these used to be?

Love the fabric!
I am noticing that the fabric of these perfect fit pants seems more substantial which I really like. So I ordered a few more pairs of the original style. I like the taupe and ledge colors as well as the navy. A nice change from my usual black! Fit well and look nice. Can be dressed up or down. 👍

Cheap fabric, bad fit
I usually order a Medium Petite in the other styles of Perfect Fit Pants, so that's what I ordered in these. The fabric was considerably thinner than previous pants and bagged out after a few hours of wear. The waist is narrow gathered and not finished with a waistband like the other styles. Maybe this pair was also incorrectly sized because they are too long and too big even though they were Medium Petites and I'm 5'5" and 178 pounds. My first experience with an LL Bean product that was definitely not worth the money.
