We've put our Unshrinkable Carefree Tees to the test, in the lab and in the field. And we're glad to say our unshrinkable t-shirts passed with flying colors. What's more, the 100% cotton fabric resists wrinkles, fading, pilling and shrinking, so our tee keeps its true-to-size fit while maintaining its comfort and softness. Not 100% Cotton
I was very disappointed to find after purchasing two of the Carefree Tees that the fabric was no longer 100% cotton, and the feel of the tee was noticeably different. It felt less breathable, and I did not appreciate the extreme elasticity of the fabric. It gave the fabric a synthetic feel. I had expected, as in the past, that I would receive a cotton tee with all the natural properties cotton features. Unfortunately I will not be purchasing the Carefree Tee again.

LL Bean Tees Rock, full stop
I needed a well-made basic tee shirt. I had bought/tried several basic tee shirts from big box stores and the quality was substandard and the fit just wasn't right. This isn't rocket science, but I want something that fits and is high quality. LL Bean Tees completely hit the mark in all categories. Rather than looking for big box sales, just go to Bean and get the right thing the first time.

So Far So Good
This particular fabric is very similar to 3 other shirts I have had for a long, long time and are still a great underlayer during cold Pacific NW winters. The unshrinable characteristic of the material is a plus.
