Good shorts but pockets are a problem
I've had multiple pairs of these shorts over the years. I obviously like them or I wouldn't keep buying them. So why not five stars? The front pockets are the weak point. I get holes in the pockets regularly. This doesn't happen with other pants or shorts, so I guess that the pockets are substandard in some way. I can patch them, but eventually patching no longer works. Replacing the pockets costs almost as much as the shorts.

I HAVE BEEN WEARING THESE SHORTS FOR YEARS AND ALL OVER THE WORLD FROM THE ACROPOLIS TO MIAMI. GIVE LL BEAN SOME CREDIT FOR PROVIDING US WITH COMFORTABLE, DURABLE WELL MADE CLOTHING. AND 100% COTTON.
