We love the quality and look but there must be some oil of some sort on the rug from

Beautiful and cozy rug!
I love this wool braided rug! It’s soft, thick and looks great in my bedroom. They also look lovely on my hardwood floors and they are cozy to step on especially on those chilly winter mornings!

Previous versions only failed due to sharp footed ladder back chairs wore out the stitching after about 5 years. This version seems less sturdy? We'll see...

Not quality
Braids come untied I have many strings coming out and sheds terribly. Looks like tumble weeds rolling around daily. Not worth $$ I paid and definitely not the quality you’d expect from LL Bean. Disappointed
