Quality
Perfect style(all lace grommets), material(waterproff foot and resistant upper), sizing(one of two styles of shoes that fit me correctly in my true size 9EE), and they have height coverage

I should have bought them a long time ago!
These boots have been on my wishlist for years. Just couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger. I am so thankful I finally bought a pair. These boots are as advertised. You creep through the woods extremely comfortably and the leather is gorgeous. Warm when needed and cool when needed. These are my go to boots for anything in the yard or woods.

Good,but!
Quality, but
-The leather upper is made for one size fits all, if you have a bigger foot like me 12 mens, but medium size ankle's and calves the upper leather body will engulf your ankles and calves. The rubber boots fits fine, but I had to have a boot maker take 3-4 inchs of leather out of the back and resow them.
- The traditional sole is ok, but it would be nice if the offered a more aggressive sole

Best hunting boots ever
This is my second pair of these boots. The first pair I bought in 1978. In 1998 I sent them back to LLBean to have the soles replaced as I had worn them down to the point where there were holes in them. The upper leather parts were still in excellent condition. I wore them until 2024 when I inadvertently left them in a hotel room in Storm Lake Iowa after 4 days of Pheasant hunting. As you can guess, I had to have another pair for this years hunting season. I'm 69 years old now and I expect these to last me the rest of my life. Best investment I ever made!

Comfortable, stylish, and dry
I have been enjoying these boots every winter since I got them. They take some time to get all laced up, but they are comfortable and keep my feet dry. Bonus points for being my only shoes that fit a morton's extension insert for hallux rigidus under my preferred insoles.
One minor annoyance was that the the laces they were sold with were too short to lace up all the way, and the very pretty replacements I got in store were also too short.
I'm lucky that I was able to fit the smallest size they come in, which is a men's 7. It would be very nice if this style was available in smaller sizes.

Bean 16 inch boots
Great boots wore a pair of 12 inch for years. Always wanted a pair of 16 inch so I finally bought a pair.

Outstanding
Great traction. Can feel everything underfoot. Can move silently with these boots. Warm enough while moving with wool socks. Maybe not the greatest for the deer stand but my new favorite for moving through the woods.
