Soft & warm merino wool socks
Longtime user of these merino wool socks. Because these will shrink down after many times in a drier, I recommend ordering one size up. Brand new, the L size fits me, but due to shrinkage I always order the XL size which
after shrinkage fits fine.

Most Comfortable Winter Socks

Thinner Than They Used to Be
These were my go to winter sock. Thick, cushy, perfect for keeping feet warm outside and inside.
This year as soon as I put them on I could tell they were much thinner than they used to be. Not sure if it's a different wool, lower thread count or thinner yarn, but the thinness compared to previous years is definitely noticeable. For the price, the value isn't there like it used to be.

unwearable due to sloppy construction
i've worn and loved llbean ragg socks for years with zero complaints. however, the last pair ordered are terrible. if i wear them with shoes, as i've always done, the sloppy, lumpy seams rub across my toes and the knotted ends dig into my feet. the ONLY way they can be worn without causing painful blisters is inside-out! i am so disappointed that llbean has let its quality control slide.
