Nice thick socks
I bought these for wearing in those waterproof gum boots you wear without socks. In the sea water in far northern BC they were comfortable and warm. Later, I used them as slippers and to wear in bed in the chilly cabins. The kind of ragg wool socks I used to wear are difficult to find now. These are softer and I will enjoy them. The fit was generous but not too loose. I haven’t washed them yet so I don’t know if they will shrink.

Perfect Socks
I bought these socks in 2024. They're 100% wool, machine washable, and soft. They kept my feet perfectly warm on my trip north of the Arctic circle. I've washed them hundreds of times and they've held up. I'm so pleased with the quality of these socks. They're so thick, too! I wear them around the house like slippers.

Best sweat socks on the planet
The XL I always buy would NOT fit a size 15 shoe size …. But, it fits me (size 12) perfectly. I wash them and hang dry with zero shrinkage 👌. This merino wool is not itchy like other wool and breathes naturally, so I actually wear them all year long …. No sweat! They last for years with no holes wearing out. Now, a bit overpriced but still very worth it. No other heavy wool sweat socks come close PERIOD
