Almost excellent jeans
My waist is 40" and these 40/29 were almost perfect, just a bit too much fabric in the upper leg and rear as well as the very upper front. I've yet to wash them, so we'll see what change if any occur. These jeans are as well made as Levi's and cost far less, plus they still have 7 belt loops which Levis reduced to 5 years ago.

No saggy butt
Being of the older persuasion, my gluteus muscles have gone into permanent hibernation so pants that are too loose in the butt looks like a baby in need of a diaper. These pants don’t resolve the loose look but they make it less obvious

The Double L classic jeans offer a very good value, especially in an age when 100% cotton jeans are becoming a rarified luxury. These are down the middle, sturdy, regular ol' jeans. Great for rounding out your Dad 'fit while you rake leaves, walk the dog, or schlep the kids around. These are a decidedly casual vibe; probably not your "date night" jeans but they put in the work elsewhere. Worth noting that the classic fit is fairly relaxed in the leg, despite the description - these are definitely not slim jeans by any measure.
