Going to be good for the cold, windy weather
I have been buying jeans from Bean for a long time. This fleece lined is what I was looking for. I'm getting up at 5:00 am and going for my daily walk outside. The wind is a deterrent to going outside, and I need to maintain my health walks. I can tell immediately from the weight and the feel that these are winter pants. As others have commented, they do seem to run a tad small. My 34 inch waist fleece lined is about 1 inch smaller than my 33 inch unlined Ben jeans. And that top metal closure button is really difficult to engage. But if I wear long underwear with the flannel jeans, I think will be comfortable in the cold weather. So I'm keeping them, and I'm happy.

Great for warmth. Wish the thighs were not quite so baggy, as my husband needs the waist size but not the roominess in the thighs. Keeps him warm though.

Great lined jeans with a slightly tighter fit
I have been buying these for years - always in a 36" waist. They all still fit fine, even after multiple washes.
These new jeans have a slightly tighter fit. It looks like the waist button has moved and makes for the tighter fit.
So I ended up buying the 37" waist - and all is good. And my older 36" waist jeans also fit just as good !!
