maine guide shirts
over the years , these have gotten lighter and not as much wool. Still, they fit well, hold up well, and are warm.

Maine Guide Shirt -mainly.
Nice blue color. Fits well with some room for layering. Size large - I’m 6’2” 200 lb. Haven’t worn it yet as temps are in the 90’s.

Long, but otherwise great
Material great. Fit as expected, with room for layers beneath. Just one qualm, For me 5’11” 210
it’s too long to tuck in. Otherwise everything I was looking for.

Sleeves way too big
Regular XL, shirt fit good, sleeves are way too long and loose, pretty dissapointed considering the price and that it was a gift.

Great shirt
I've always liked Bean's Main Guide Shirt. I had one all through college and grad school, using it not only for hunting and other outdoor activities, but also for everyday wear around campus. They were durable, warm and quiet while I was hunting. I wash mine on gentle, cold water and use Woolite, despite instructions which say dry clean only. Highly recommended.

Well-made, warm, and big
Well-made, warm shirt. It's nominally "Large," but fits more like Extra-Large--in a dress shirt size it would be about 17-35 instead of 16- or 16 1/2-34. You could wear more layers under it easily. I don't need that, as I don't plan on being a guide in the Maine woods in winter, but other wearers might appreciate the roominess.
