Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Warm and comfortable, long lasting shirt.
I had several of these back in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. The more you wash and wear them, the better they get! I wore them in an Ontario winter. Also great as a light comfy jacket.

Very roomy
I bought the deep wine color in L. It fits like an XL, quite loose, like a shirtjac. It was made in Sri Lanka. The arms are too long. I can't say I'm in love with the feel of the fabric. I was expecting a softer fabric.
