Our heaviest-weight flannel. Made of thick chamois fabric that's warmer than ordinary flannel, it's a shirt, light jacket and essential layer all in one.
When our founder, Leon Leonwood Bean, developed this shirt more than 90 years ago, durability was the goal. Then as now, the 100% cotton shirt is brushed for exceptional softness and warmth. Terrible quality compared to the maroon shirt
I own this shirt in navy and my husband owns it in red. They are such good quality I bought it in maroon and gray. The maroon shirt matches the great quality of my navy and red but the gray one is AWFUL! It feels cheap and is pilling. I am sending it back.

I love these flannel shirts for men because they don't fit tight as the women's flannel shirts.The men's flannel shirts has more flannel material than the women's plus-size flannel shirts.

Not the same
I've been buying these shirts for years. This year the fabric has changed. Not as heavy and not nearly as soft. A big disappointment. Used to be my favorite shirt. Will not buy again.

Warm and comfortable, long lasting shirt.
I had several of these back in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s. The more you wash and wear them, the better they get! I wore them in an Ontario winter. Also great as a light comfy jacket.
